Swinbrook 49 All out (A.Walker 3-18, O.Pascoe 5-24) SHCC 51-1

10 man Swinbrook won the toss and elected to bat. Stanton Harcourt restricted them to 49 All out with Ollie Pascoe claiming 5-24 and Andy Walker 3-18, then a magnificent direct run out by youngster Declan Wastie who looks like he has a great cricket future ahead of him. Stanton then opened the batting with Louis Pettifer (16) and Joel Graham (21*) and then 14* by number 3 Luke Pettifer, which wrapped up the win in 7.3 overs.

16-5-2015 Britwell Salome V Stanton Harcourt

Britwell 212-3, SHCC 231-7 (O.Pascoe 82, S.Wastie 32)

A weakened Stanton team edged out the hosts in a thrilling game at Britwell with 4 balls to spare. After winning the toss and batting first Britwell posted a competitive 212-3 with McConkey scoring 119* helped by the Stanton fielders dropping him 4 times! One of these dropped catches reduced stannton to 10 men when Robert Graham was taken to hospital with a dislocated finger and took no further part in the game. Stanton got off to a good start putting on 44 for the first wicket out of 9 overs. When both openers had gone, Ollie Pascoe and Jake Souch put on 70 to take Stanton to 126-3 off 25, then a partnership of 35 between Ollie Pascoe and Stuart Wastie took stanton to 175-5 off 36. When Ollie was out for 82, Stuart stepped up to the plate and kept the scoreboard ticking over. with 22 required from 3 overs things were looking tense, but Stuart struck a 6 and a 4 in the 43rd over, then two more 4's in the penultimate over to ease the pressure. Stuart was finnaly out with scores level having scored 32 leaving John Woodward to nudge a single for victory by 3 wickets in the last over.

23-5-2015 Stanton Harcourt V Kilkenny

Kilkennys main contributor was Duncan MacDonald who fell 7 runs short of a century. Stanton Harcourt always felt that the target was well within reach and after a opening partnership of 60 by Chris Pascoe (37) and Joel Graham (22) the home side was well on track, but a superb spell of bowling from Darren Gordon (6-32) reduced Stanton to 79-7. Although the lower order rallied, Stanton were eventually bowled out for 139 falling 52 runs short.

6-6-2015 Marcham V Stanton Harcourt

Stanton Harcourt won the toss and elected to bat and were soon in trouble at 8-2 with both openers going early, but a brisk 43 from Oliver Pascoe and then a sixth wicket partnership of 125 from Luke Pettifer (54) and Andy Walker (85*) got Stanton Harcourt to a very respectible 223-7 at the end of the innings. Luke 50 was his maiden half century in league cricket, Andy Walkers 85* included 5 huge sixes and in Oliver Pascoe's 43 he reached 5000 career runs for Stanton Harcourt. Marcham got off to a great start reaching 36-0 off 6 overs, but the Stanton bowlers gradually started to peg them back and Marcham struggled to keep up with the run rate, and were frequently losing wickets with Luke Pettifer taking 3-34, Oliver Pascoe 2-28 and John Woodward 2-48. You have to ask yourself is there no end to Andy Walkers talents, firstly top scoring with 85 not out, picking up two wicket, taking a superb catch at mid wicket, and then turning his hand to a spot of crowd control! Marcham were eventually all out for 167 in the 43rd over.
